Oh Deer Creative Community flatlay workshop

One of the most amazing things in this world is people working together and lifting each other to new heights. While it is such a shame it doesn't happen more often, it is so beautiful when it does.

In this wedding community, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with so many different talented creatives from planners, calligraphers to photographers. Today, I want to highlight my most recent experience, which was working with Ashley of Oh Deer Photography.

Ashley is not only a photographer herself (and a very talented one at that), but she also runs a community on Facebook that links other creatives and brings them together. Ashley understands the value of working together to achieve higher goals.

Hungry Heart, Ink was recently invited to her flatlay shoot. She hosted an entire event where stationers could send in their work and any photographer looking to sharpen their flatlay skills, create new content, or just meet more creatives and see more work were invited to attend. I sent over so many new suites and some old suites for Ashley and her guests to use as props.

These kind of events are so amazing to creatives. It is so important to always stay connected and network in the creative field. The wedding industry relies so heavily on word-of-mouth and reviews, and just getting the opportunity to show more people our work was such a home run for us a business. The photos that came out of this event (so far) have been breathtaking.

My girl Ashley works fast. While we wait for the rest of the photographers' who attended to send us some work, check out what Oh Deer Photography was able to create. She works fast and beautifully.

Hungry Heart, Ink and myself look forward to the next flatlay event Ashley has in the books and for all of the opportunities making their way down the pipe.

Below are some suuuuuper sneak peeks at some new work we have in our books, we'll let you in on all the details when it's all good and ready to go!
